Listening to the Hurt of Humanity . . . manifesting yinzen as hope

A very small insight: This week I’m practising the short contemplation in “listening to the cries of the world” a way of opening up to compassion with a pure, kind heart: acknowledging that we can all hear the hurt in the hearts of all human beings. You sit quietly and let the cries in.

“Humanity’s heart is broken – I like the way Lynne McTaggart says it: we’re suffering from unrequited humanity . . . in her book The Bond . My own insight today is that humanity has also given itself a big headache, but then that’s been building for centuries.”—SuZen

Powerfully focusing our life-force or shakti energy

“She who hears the cries of the world” is believed to appear to all, but according to their individual need. In her myth, she comes from the “inexhaustible mind of source” or divine source . . . so she manifests as teacher if that is what is needed for healing, or Isis/Devi—or indeed Mother Goddess of the Universe if that’s the need to bring hope. This is what I call the YinZen of manifesting hope for humanity. WE manifest in the here and now, because of our transformation, wherever the Humanity Being needs help—we channel Infinite Thought to follow this Bliss . . . and at the bottom of our hearts we know the urgency and importance of our devotion to our daily practice for humanity, to keep our divine channels open and clear.

This is one of our guiding concepts that powerfully focus our life-force or shakti energy. We manifest whatever is needed to bring hope and healing for humanity.

The concept, myth or story—the humanity heartache

“There is a hurt at the bottom of the human heart”—we can call it unrequited humanity—and in the Tao concept it is the “cry”. I call it the humanity heartache, or better to say “heartbreak”.

In the Tao practice, there is an ancient Taoist story of the separation of the Yin and Yang, which seems to be an origin for the Tao version of the Avolokiteshvara myth, The Regarder of the Cries of the World, and it’s about the origin of The Cry: tens of thousands of years ago just as humankind was beginning to be able to think, we were also beginning our separation from the One, in order to evolve and develop as humanity.

The Yin/Yang Separation

The Yin and the Yang separated and the pain of separation was expressed in the deep cry of the heart of mankind—a hunger and a yearning, many of us now call this “the screaming of the Great Humanity Soul”. In the story, our cries are always heard and our yearning to return to the whole is watched over with great compassion by Mother of the Universe. And in order to return to the whole, we must learn to surrender our thinking-mind back to the One Reality: Consciousness . . . and I call this surrendering The Return to Innocence.

A practice: Listening to the cries of the world

This practice comes from the zen concept that “the Regarder of the Cries of the World” is always present and listening. In the journey of Zen from India to Japan, by the time Zen reached Korea, via China, the mythical Indian Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara had changed gender. By now the god had become a “she”, Kwan Yin the Goddess of Compassion.

As usual, Zen changed with the culture and the culture changed with Zen. It is still changing in its own unique way, as the West continues the great awakening to Goddess.—SuZen

So, as I said this is a small insight, and it may seem like a small, simple thing to do for humanity . . . but, just as when you’re happy you don’t realise what a big thing it is, when you have compassion and listen, and manifest in whatever way help is needed this is beyond vast, it is unlimited as it comes from Infinite Thought.

And this is why we have such a radical devotion to our daily practice as the new Humanity Being.

Remembering . . . Our Livingness and Wonder-ful-ness

Ancient memory—Wisdom practices

I’m reminding you in this blog about “remembering”. I’m reminding you about “Living-ness” which is what I call Kundalini Shakti energy of life force. And, of course, I’m reminding you about our “wonder-ful-ness”—we’re full of cosmic energy and life force flowing through our miraculous human body-mind systems and this is a total wonder, we’re full of it, force and essence and it fills us with “being-ness” as we call it in zen.

Our practices have come from all over the world—Wisdom practices from our Ancestors for thousands and thousands of years: giving us the infinite potential to create something new now . . . a creative rebirth, being born again into the new, the innocence of the mystery.

Out of the past

And we’ve come from all over the world, out of the past . . . remember what I told you on my homepage, about a group coming back at this time for humanity with a mission to be geniuses, visionaries and empaths to restore balance so that humanity can be in harmony with the Universe again? We’ve always been the “magician”, “sages”, and “visionaries” of the gods. We’re here now to remember our collective calling. You can read more here about Graham Hancock’s interpretation of this sacred mission.

The Mystery

We’re here, now, to live in the wonder—what’s going to come next for us? And to live in the wonder-ful-ness of the Mystery of Life: experiencing flow in the mystic beautiful-ness of life—our YinZen SoMa practices give us the ability to live in such a way . . . with dignity, and respectful of our collective Soul journey. [You start in practice here if you’re new to our community.]

Incredible creation

As living human beings, each one of us is an incredible creature of creation . . . here to discover who we are—individually—and be happy with this: and to discover what each unique story is. Where have we come from? What’s our relationship to life? Is it a unique love affair waiting to be discovered? Our practices are about remembering—remembering our true being nature, truth force or soul force. What are you bringing from the past?

“What are you bringing from the past?”

The way I teach you and guide you, here and now, is with an ancient technique of unfolding in small steps, reason being that I understand how important it is to build you up as a “vessel of virtue” to which you direct your life-force energy—livingness or essence of life: directing all of this primordial energy to your purpose-full-ness to help all of us as a spiritual community serve humanity’s advancement at this crucial point in the story. Namaste, suZen

Zen of Humanity’s Mess-up

The “Problem”? A world out of Balance. The “Solution”? Restore vital balance . . . and the pressing question for us, as Humanity Empaths, is “HOW?”.

Whenever we ask “HOW?”, we’re asking Tao, Mother, God/Goddess, Ma’at, Balance: for guidance for the dharma or culture of tomorrow.

We’re the change-makers, news-bringers, visionaries and geniuses: incarnated now at a time when great and positive change is badly needed. What binds us together as a tribe is our sacred intention to walk the divine path for this purpose: I’m teaching you that our Cosmic Memory is the “glue” that brings and holds us together.

And, knowing the out-dated thinking that got Humanity and our World into the mess we’re in right now, is not going to birth us into a brighter future.

As always, there’s a Zen way forward . . . as Humanity Empaths, the point and purpose of our existence is to channel ways for positive change: because we have a radical devotion to daily practice, we’re enabling ourselves to keep the channel within for Divine communication open and create new ways of thinking and being for a better future for all and our world—so Humanity can advance.

Who I Am is my true being . . . my value and destiny: so “Who Am I?”

Typically, a Humanity Empath will be: an introvert, and maybe super-introvert; psychically sensitive; visionary; and probably vividly aware of past life experiences.

We will have had . . . near death experiences; out of body experiences; precognition and premonition; and of course, prophetic dreams. We’re super vulnerable to vibrations from the collective of humanity, experiencing overwhelming emotions and thoughts. Our personal boundaries are important for our own inner peace and balance.

Strengthening connection with the Ancient in our Being and our Cosmic Memory is essential. We do all of this with personal practice on a daily basis, which I am teaching you.

And we do it, recognising we are channels for Divine Mother’s pure love for Humanity’s advancement – our purpose. We are becoming, as a collective group, a model for Primordial Goddess’s care for Humanity.

Restoring Vital Balance . . . our Destiny

We restore vital Balance to our World with devotion to our own practice—and so honouring our value in the destiny of Humanity and World: helping Humanity evolve into a better version of itself, transforming to be able to help themselves, planet, and Universe.

We do this with our own self-evolution and transformation.

“Not with the same old thinking . . .”

The solution to Humanity’s problem? It’s actually more of an antidote than a “solution”. Try something new . . . re-imagine our future as a return to innocence: Balance.

“How?”

Remember, when we ask “how” we’re asking for our own unique guidance for destiny. This journey is going to take courage, and sincerity in dedication, with a radical devotion to our practice . . . to open and evolve into our collective destiny: with fairness, kindness, vision and genius.

“Try something new . . . “

Ancient Eastern Wisdom Paths to inner Freedom, inner peace and following our Bliss, help us to open and grow mentally and emotionally—bringing strong minds, as with the strong mind of Zen, and awakening our hearts to balance: these practices, ancient and powerful, strengthen our ability to hold onto our visions, embrace our genius nature, giving courage to follow our hearts . . . to create new ways for our future World.

As a for instance: do you have your own thoughts and ideas of new ways to create and share money? Have you had visions of fairer ways for society to work? And what about kinder, circular economies? You might have had premonitions of future projects only you understand at the moment? You are more than welcome here.

My YinZen SoMa teachings and practices will support you . . . because we practice in opening up with small steps which give us the space to regularly return to balance as we open, grow and evolve on our path of infinite potential.

Our path forward is with  . . . Simple Steps, Ancient Teachings: Awakening and Accelerating our Spiritual Vision

We see things differently: this path is not a quick-fix or a spiritual short-cut to success for Humanity . . . to be honest, many of us know that our World might just not survive for long. Personally, I think we will as Humanity has always survived. And our destiny is to “walk the path with Spiritual Vision” . . . hopefully for a return to innocence. We’re a tribe of Humanity Empaths willing to walk a Divine Path . . . learning that inner peace gives support and inner resources to truly be ourselves, being at peace with our destiny: awake to and aware of how vital it is to restore Balance.

3 simple and [almost . . .] effortless ways to grow spiritually every day for budding buddhas

We’ve just had the Pisces New Moon this morning, and it’s the real start to the year for me as Sun sign Pisces, here in the Western world.  For the world, this has meant the very end of the Age of Pisces, the end of the era of dominant religions, Patriarchy and Saviour/Messiahs . . . last month’s Aquarius New Moon being the real start of the Age of Aquarius as far as I can tell.

This blog is the result of my insights into how much a year can change your life . . . and this year really is the first year for the growth of the individual and our enlightenment through our own integrity and handling our own issues . . .

Key will be simplicity and grounding I feel, and so my suggestions below are for those of you who’d like to evolve and grow on a daily basis throughout the coming year: may the buds of your Buddha-hood open and blossom.

But, first a bit of a story: I was living in Saltaire, Yorkshire (UK) in the mid-90’s, intensely into my Yoga and Meditation training and dreaming of the day when I could be independent as a Meditation Teacher. on a personal note, I’d made my bathroom in my apartment very soothing and beautiful. I had a few Meditation “clients” coming to me on a regular basis. By 1995 I had found a few simple ways to incorporate zen into my daily life.  And I had been given a little book for xmas 1994 – Daily Meditations for 1995 by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov.

I put the little book in my bathroom, made a lovely hand-crafted bookmark, and started 1995 with the intention of reading my meditations every morning for the year so that I would be the sincere and dedicated student my teachers deserved. I resolved to grow and evolve steadily and patiently and to look back through the book every two or three months to assess my progress.

What I didn’t expect was that everyone who visited me in my apartment during that year, was enjoying doing the same thing! I got used to people asking if the bathroom was free as soon as they arrived and disappearing for 5 minutes or so quiet time on their own . . . .

Before I give you my 3 simple insights for (almost) effortless spiritual growth, I’d like you to know one very important and fundamental thing to guide and support you on your path of development. And it is this: Your teacher, guru or your master knows you are not neurotic. Your teacher knows that all you have to do is sit  . . . meditate, sit in stillness or contemplation, practice with honesty and integrity and your Buddha nature will awaken—your Divine self will shine through. And you must be sincere in your practice, for you do not come to your Guru on your ground . . . you come to the teacher or Master on his or her ground.

And they will allow you to have evolved a little more every time they see you. To become your own Master is your journey to maturity and freedom. So, 3 very simple ways to grow and evolve on a daily basis.

Read daily inspirations: Choose a source of inspiration that you can draw on consistently: you could follow one or two poets—my suggestions would be Rumi, Pablo Neruda or Kahlil Gibran.

Give up one weakness and grow one strength every day: You were born with wisdom. You are a being of energy. You were also born with “shadows”. Your shadows are your weakness or neuroses—we all have them. You can consciously take control of your self and keep moving from the shadow to the light by strengthening the good stuff and letting the weaknesses wither away and die.

This practice takes a few minutes contemplation every day and keeping a journal helps to see what makes you bigger and what makes you smaller. An example of wisdom energy would be: having a profound sense of spaciousness; and the opposite weakness would be: getting very absorbed in a small world. Another wisdom would be: seeing the big picture and having a largeview; and the corresponding weakness would be: being rigid and tight and dogmatic.

Give up one expectation—especially about relationships—every day! As you now know, you are a Buddha with the potential to awaken, and not a neurotic to your teacher in Zen as long as you are sitting in Meditation regularly. Your friend, “other” partner, lover etc is also a Buddha . . . give up one expectation in your relationships every day and give the people in your life the respect your teacher gives you in allowing them to have evolved a little every time you see them.

So, I’ll leave you with this thought: evolving and growing spiritually creates magic in our lives, so that we can know the miracle of setting ourselves free . . . and here’s one of those Daily Meditations I told you about to set you on your path for the coming year,  . . . enjoy!

Knowledge must be lived if it is to remain with you for all eternity.

The only thing that will not disappear, the only thing that you can take with you into the next world, is the knowledge that you have proved for yourself in your own life; the knowledge that has become an integral part of your being.”

Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov, Daily Meditations, February 19th 1995.

When Being Yourself Means Needing to Move

There are intense developments and changes happening all around us in the world, and in our own hearts and in our own minds at the moment. This is a far from easy time. But in many ways it also needs to be seen as an intensely productive time for many of us, especially those of us connected deeply with Source.

It is a strong time. A time when we can be coming to an understanding of who we are, individually and collectively. Which means we can be breaking through internal barriers, going past a point from where there will be no return. Wonderful things are happening in terms of our progress, on our Spiritual journeys through life.

The journey through life

If that journey through life is going to teach us something, and if it is designed to take us to new understanding and new levels of consciousness, well it is certainly exactly what is happening to us at the moment. It is as if many of us are much bigger human beings than we used to be . . . richer in Spirituality, richer emotionally and much richer psychically. We’re gaining more ability to understand what is going on in the world. This is a wonderful thing.

Yet, it doesn’t automatically follow, for example, that just because I am so much more than the person I used to be, because I see so much more and because I’ve learned so much the hard way—because I’ve had so many lessons taught to me and therefore I am undoubtedly the richer and the wiser as a result—that other people are going to recognise this. Or, indeed that I am now going to find myself capable of making every decision perfectly because I have so much experience under my belt.

It doesn’t follow that way because the Universe keeps giving us new challenges. Otherwise, the Universe wouldn’t be that much fun for any of us and there wouldn’t be much point in life. If we all, as humanity, always knew what was coming up and if we always knew already how to handle things, where’s the learning? There has to be an element of the unknown, no matter how tense that may be.

And tension is what grows and develops the mind into the vehicle we need for our Soul’s growth.

Spiritual growth means change

There also has to be a way that the people that we deal with, whom we talk to and interact with will continually fail to understand where we’re “coming from” no matter how hard we try to communicate clearly with them. It’s the nature of the “beast” called Life. It is the way it is.

There will be some relationships that operate on one level, and other relationships that operate on another. Others will continually “meet” you at their own level of development.

When you are growing Spiritually, making progress and becoming truer to the truth of who you are here in this life to be, it is definitely the case in life at challenging times like the moment that there will be certain people who you would like to have a better level of communication with or have more understanding of. Yet they seem almost determined to refuse to listen to what you have to say or acknowledge that you have knowledge or expertise and insight which is valid in a certain field. It’s a little bit like, it’s the hardest thing to persuade your nearest and dearest that you’re taking up a new course of study, or hobby or that you’ve given up an old habit. Or, importantly, that you’re going to change the way that you’ve been in your life.

Tension and change

You can make changes amongst strangers much more easily than you can surrounded by people who are a little bit cynical . . . or, who think they know you the way you are. People look at you and say “oh yes, this is this person” and that’s it: the way you dress, speak, react, talk are all pidgeon-holed as their picture of you. No-one around you wants all of this “person” changing because they’ll feel uncomfortable when you suddenly start changing: all the people in your world who think they know you will have to put you in a slightly different “box” or pidgeon-hole. Truth be told, it’s hard work for them and they can’t be bothered. It is natural to hold someone where they were before, it’s not malicious or insidious. So it becomes harder for you, facing the expectations you can feel from them, to make your moves forward.

Tension all around us at this time in humanity’s existence on Planet Earth, is being felt by many of us who wish for Spiritual progress and advancement—because we’re feeling held back by what other people just can’t see: the difference between our old outworn version of ourself and who we are becoming and want to become. And, importantly, they can’t see why it is so important to want to make positive changes. There is conflict going on. It is being exacerbated by changes in other people which we find difficult to deal with.

Our honest needs

There is a need at the moment for honest and clear communication. There is a need to remove this whole ridiculous idea that you know who the people in your life really are and they know who you are. A beginning again and an opening of fresh eyes would be a really wonderful thing for many of us at this stage in our lives. But, above all else in our current world climate, there needs to be a degree of relaxation and a degree of trust.

What is going on can be extremely good. What is going on can be about reaching the resolution of problems that have been hanging around for a very long time. Some of us are making tremendous Spiritual steps forward and we can make bigger ones. Realising we could be in the wrong place, with the wrong people for the new times ahead is a huge leap in consciousness. And that is more than fine.

We have to take this one step at a time. And understand that everyone can’t move at exactly the same pace all the time. But, sometimes relocating is exactly the right thing to do.
