At the End of the Age of Pisces . . . the Obstacle is the Path

Our purpose and the quality of time right now is important: if we’ve been putting a lot of time and effort into work, or shall we simply call it our “purpose”, and not taking time out for self and self-care then we’re probably feeling tattered around the edges . . . and this is a sign of times to come. Because this quality of time can go on for another 2 or so years as we practically crawl out of the Age of Pisces at a snail’s pace, to risk burnout—and I mean burnout of anysort, be it emotional, physical [including financial], mental or spiritual—self-care is going to be of the most importance.

And this is my guidance as your Piscean guide through these times: warming foods for breakfast, and warming means warming in the Ayurvedic sense, so maybe adding dried fruits along with fresh apples and oranges; spices like cloves and ginger, and nuts if you can do them?

We’ll need regular time dedicated to Cortisol relief, and our daily practices help with that, so that would be our breathwork and meditations. You don’t have to be Pisces sun, moon or rising sign astrologically to need Cortisol relief: many of us will be A-type blood group and we have naturally high Cortisol levels—so we need slow stuff like swimming, walking, yoga and meditation. Most importantly for our sensitivity and psychic protection, going to bed super-early for the sleep we need to clean our brains and aid the memory-storage process.

Let’s focus on this for a minute: “purpose” such as ours maybe does not just mean focusing on one thing in particular. To focus on “purpose” might mean that to bring one thing to completion actually involves focusing on many things, and they all require consistent effort. And we’re probably running the likelihood of burning ourselves out if we keep trying to maintain a level of high productivity in the commonly expected way of the West . . . and what expectations are now of how we “get things done”. Looking for pockets of time for rest and respite will obviously stop the tiredness setting in.

The future has no precedent in the past—self-care taking on new meaning

This is stating the obvious I know, but things have been hard for many of us. We’ve been investing so much in following our path into a future that has no precedent in the past. Not taking quite as good care of ourselves as we could have might be a given . . . but with 20:20 vision, in hindsight had we known how long this process was going to take, we might not have set off on the journey in the first place, and secondly we didn’t know in advance just HOW important it would be to slow down and go gently with it.

Well, now we do. Which is why I’ve been guiding us all to take a pause and slow down. I think it’s probably one of Saturn’s Blessings that we didn’t know how long this part of the process is going to take. Because now those of us who are committed are really, really committed and we want this part of Humanity’s journey into a more enlightened future to happen. We’re prepared to put in that last, little bit more energy. And looking back with our 20:20 vision we can likely see where those pockets of time and gaps for time-out and self-care might have been . . . to build up our inner, energetic resources and maybe even physical and financial resources?

Learning to pace ourselves is one of Saturn’s lessons. And Saturn often wants us to go over these things again . . . it’s revising, doing “it” again, doing it more, doing it harder or for longer than you expected to have to. Because, yes the end result is a Blessing, but it’s also about what this process has done for you.

What has changed . . . future you

Of the essence is, what has changed within you . . . and what is going to have changed in 2 or more years’ time? Remember what I said earlier about Saturn’s symbolic and energetic messages from the Universe? This divine quality is of slowing us down for the long-haul of our future, and our path to maturity . . . a diamond-like knowledge of self.

Essentially, we are being helped at a Universal level, the Cosmic level, to move forwards because we’ve done everything “right”—I always say that there’s no right or wrong at the Spiritual level but here what I’m talking about is having been mature enough to get everything in our world into good order while keeping ourselves in good shape.

The obstacle is your Path

Pisces, as well as ruling Belief, is ruled by emotions. So, we’ve listened to ourself, listened to our emotions and paid attention to where we’ve been emotionally drawn and we’ve invested in that. And more, this phase is about managing emotions and not having been subject to them during this time so far . . . not having been a slave to emotions. Major energetic themes during the Age of Pisces have been about Master/Slave or Master/Victim qualities playing out. So, to move on from this and to neutralise the Karma from our collective past has meant learning not to be dictated to by emotions, allowing them to inform us but not allowing them to dictate to us—particularly for the water signs among us. I say this because the Ancient Eastern Wisdom tradition goes that the thing you struggle most with is actually your Super-power.

This obstacle is your Path.

Within the watery realms of Pisces, emotions govern everything and this can introduce a major level of passivity—another Piscean Age issue—essentially all about acceptance. We get diverted and sent off-track when our emotions get bruised and we respond in a protective way by guarding ourselves in order to retain a status quo, rather than noticing that this is an indication that we should move away from this thing or do something else. If emotions are ruling you, you’re not going to do the necessary detaching for your own self-good.

But, because of the process we’ve been going through and will be going through for another while yet, what seems to be “baked-in” to our path is we’re becoming more sensitive as we become more aware, more psychic, more intuitive, more visionary. And things that might have seemed like a “curse” for a while are proving to serve us really well.

So, let’s add this to the mix of realising the inner changes we’re experiencing due to this divine quality of energy slowing us down for the long-haul of our future, and our path to maturity . . . a diamond-like knowledge of self: and I mean fully being aware of increased sensitivity, psychic strength and visionary perception—our “curses” becoming our blessings . . .

And that is a very, very powerful place to arrive at.
