Dr Vandana Shiva: “Ecology is…the science of the earth, her living beings, her ecosystems. Oikonomia, or Economy, to be true to its name and its roots, should be care and management of the Earth as our home.”
The word ‘economy’ has its roots in the Greek word ‘oikos’, which originally referred to household, house, or family, its daily operations and maintenance. Economy, derived from Oikonomia is thus the management of the home. Today, we need to see “oikos” both in terms of our particular homes in particular places, as well as the planet as our common home, and the Earth Family as one family of all beings and people on the Earth.
Today, the Economy has lost its way. It has gone rogue. It has become a brutal money machine that is destroying the homes of the poor, and our common home. It has become a war against people and the planet. And it needs to be brought home. It needs to be brought back in service of the Earth in accordance with ecology, the laws of the Earth.

Catherine Ulissey: 12,000 years ago, approximately one half of a precessional cycle, our last ice age ended, and advanced culture was brought to its knees, when a river of fire (solar plasma) emanated from our Sun and washed over our planet, leaving little more than large stones standing. Will we be hit again? Geology teaches that it is not a matter of if, but when. The question is, will the world be prepared? And knowing that such an event is coming, what will our civilization leave to posterity?
An explosion from our star, the Sun, c. 9700 BCE sent the world into chaos. The high levels of radiation associated with the event explain the die-off of large mammals that also occurred at this time. The way to survive would have been to go underground, to seek protection within rock, and we see evidence that humans did just this worldwide, with quintessential examples found in the Cappadocia region of Turkey where a network of underground cities that housed tens of thousands of people still exists. Humankind was thrown into a dark age for thousands of years, only to reemerge (amidst megalithic monuments belonging to a much earlier period) with scattered memories and nascent abilities.

Rob Brezny: This is an excerpt from an interview with Jeff Brown in his Enrealment podcast, where he and Rob talk about “Healing the Wounds of Patriarchy” . . . this is in response to the question “what do you feel is in the way of returning back, or returning for the first time, to an experience of spirituality as humans?”
Rob: “I think there’s a lot of inaction in the world. I think the earth-based religions are doing it to some degree. There’s some precedence for that in our past, in our indigenous past that all of us came from—I come from indigenous Polish and Slovakian groups and my people had their own indigenous traditions that preceded the Christian “gloss”. I think there are a lot of people returning to those roots and I think that that’s a great part of it.
“Although I think there’s a very new perspective that goes even further: ‘how do we do that?’ What I think is important is our love for human beings—who they are, how they actually live—and it’s our main motivating force. Speaking for myself it’s important for me to remember that’s where it all comes from and ultimately those of us who speak these truths are grounded—because that’s where it all comes from, conveying the ultimate inspiration that people are drawn to.”

David Gilmour: “Take it back”

Now I have seen the warnings, screaming from all sides / it’s easy to ignore them, God knows I’ve tried / all of this temptation, you know it turned my faith to lies /until I couldn’t see the danger, or hear the rising tide. She can take it back / she will take it back some day.
The lyrics to the song “Take it Back” are actually attributed to Pink Floyd, but the song concept came from David Gilmour’s being inspired by the Gaia myth and her symbolism as Mother Earth . . . she had come out of original chaos and life started to flourish when she was born. In the Greek creation myth Mother Earth created the plains, the rivers, the lands and is responsible for creating the world as we know it today. As Mother and Wife of Uranus, the sky god, she gave birth to the Titans, whom Uranus hated—as father/brother—and he decided to imprison them in Gaia’s womb, forcing her to “take them back” causing her great pain and distress and preventing her from having more children.

Marijn Poels: “The quest I pursued for the last 5 years was to discover to which extent we should engineer our efforts to control Earth’s ecosystems without losing the principles of preserving it. We should engineer it with respect, and always stay strongly connected with nature in order to understand it. If we don’t understand the problem, there is no way in the world we can fix it.
“Whether believing in man-made global warming or not, climate change is there and should be there. It has never stopped changing and will continue to do so. However, in my opinion, there are two main questions with rather unstructured answers.
[A] Whether the change will be harmful in the future and
[B] to what extent humans are contributing to it.
“The scientific answers are “Highly likely” and “more than 50%” These are not really accurate, and there is a reason for it.”

SuZen/Susan Ni Rahilly: I don’t talk about this very much, but I’m a grail carrier . . . my own Ancient being-ness is that my Scottish Grandmother on my Mother’s side was a Sinclair—I got to sit on my granny’s knee in the afternoons in her old-fashioned kitchen in Scotland and listen to the stories when I was 2, 3 and 4 years old.
Only later I found out—even though it was daily talk in our house over tea in the afternoons—that the Sinclairs were one of the 2 families in France who married into the Mary Magdalene bloodline to keep the sacred blood of Jesus and Mary, through their daughter, pure. Being a grail carrier to me means, almost at the High Priestess level of “fairy godmother”, reminding you of the special gifts you have carried with you in your soul for many, many lifetimes—the ancient in your being: and this is what I teach you to remember.
You make my Yoga my yoga . . . and it’s not up to me how I do it, as a channel for Divine Mother’s care for Humanity’s advancement I go with the inspiration and interpret that with whatever communication skills I have . . . so that you can be part of this spiritual community bringing hope to Humanity for our future.
Between you and me, the inspirational guides above that I call a “Circle of Light” have helped me in my own understanding of Humanity’s journey through time . . . because neither time nor the creative mind is linear, and “joining the dots” happens in a circular fashion.
