Welcome
Step 10 today, and welcome . . . today we have practice with the beautiful concept that the OM is the sound of the Universe and that somewhere in the Universe there is a “sea” of OMs continuously washing our emotions. We’re in the realms of emotion today.
This practice is so soothing for Pisces, with our need for purification and cleansing of the constant barrage of emotions that we experience.
So, today in practice we have daily wisdom, then daily practice with saddhana, dedication and intention and practising with the “Sea of OMs”. Later on in evening practice, we have verses from The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran, and I read to you from the section which I call “Self is a Sea” . . . this is from an old reading of mine for the class savasana or final relaxation. We’re going to use “Self” as the mantra for Gentle Calm breathing.

Wisdom for Today

Saddhana Dedication and Intent for today’s practice
Washing our Emotions with the Sea of OMs. When I mention “God” in the teaching, this is the translation from Yogic texts—in fact there is no gender. God means Goddess, or “That” . . . so for those who don’t “do” god insert your own version for Divine Source.

“Self is a Sea”, Kahlil Gibran
10 minutes of Gentle Calm with soft rainsticks: breathe rhythmically using “Self” as your mantra

Take step 11 at the link below, and this is the time you’ll need to set aside for your practice. Read my welcome intro, take 10 minutes or so in contemplation with wisdom for the day, then we have daily practice around 15 minutes, and evening practice of around 12 minutes. Take each step at least one day at a time.
Enjoy! SuZen
