Healing the Earth Through her “Third Eye” Chakra

If you’re in a regular mind-body-spirit practice then you’ll be aware of and in tune with your own Chakras. Our Planet also has Chakras: energetic gateways to higher consciousness of the Earth.

The Earth’s “Third Eye” Chakra

As our own personal Chakras are psychic gateways to higher energy and our potential Divine vibrations, the Planet also has these energetic centres and vibrational gateways. This is how Heaven and Earth align.

There are 7 major Chakras [and “Earth Stars”] and also more minor energetic lines which run all over the Earth in line with waterways and power lines—you might know them as Ley Lines.

Six of the Earth Chakras are pretty fixed. I say “pretty fixed” because change is a constant, paradoxically, and in the time-frame of our understanding for this concept, we are talking in Ages or Aeons—cycles of ages, and not about what happened last year or will happen next year.

The Aeon Activation Center

One of the Earth Chakras, however, “moves” locations: it is called the mobile Aeon Activation Center which carries the energy at the dawn of a new Aeon, or age. This movement happens between Ages—again not overnight or in a couple of years—and the transitional period between Ages is usually 50-years or so.

The Ages themselves, Aeons or Yugas, last for 2,200-2,500 years. This mobile energetic centre is the Earth “Third Eye” or Guru Chakra. It is in transition now.

Background

To give some background to the Earth Chakra locations: these following are what’s widely accepted as far as our current knowledge goes . . .

One, Base Chakra: Mount Shasta, Northern California;

Two, Sacral or Sexual Chakra: Lake Titicaca;

Three, Solar Chakra: Ulura and Kata Tjuta, Northern Territory Australia:

Four, Heart Chakra: Glastonbury and Shaftesbury, England:

Five, Throat or Life Chakra: Mount Sinai, Middle East:

Six, Third Eye is the mobile Aeon Activation Center: my thinking is it was located at Kashmir, India in one Age. More recently suggested to be located between Mount of Olives and the Great Pyramid, Giza, Egypt.

Seven, Crown Chakra: Mount Kailas, Himalayas, India.

When the “Third Eye” or Guru Chakra as I prefer to call it moves, it transitions West by one-twelfth of the Earth circumference [3,339 kilometres]. It has been predicted that this new location will be Glastonbury in England.

I don’t think so.

And on asking many spiritual initiates over the last few years, I’m not alone in thinking that. The “Third Eye” of the Planet wouldn’t be in the same location as the World “Heart” Chakra. They have different purposes and energetic qualities. And I do suppose that the estimation for the “Third Eye” moving to Glastonbury is simply because of lack of knowledge of the energy in the ancient land of Ireland—or elsewhere as we shall see.

Ancient Spirituality

Ancient spirituality in the land energy of Ireland is massive, and yes it has been blocked for a long time—issues mainly having been about immaturity of the masculine energy and suppression of the Divine Feminine. And this is why I prefer to call the third eye Chakra “Guru Chakra”, because the energetic principle at this Chakra is Guru Energy or the Divine Principle: the meeting of Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine energies at the point of your own Divinity within.

It is here that we raise our awareness to Wisdom, understanding the evolution of consciousness: and use the power of discernment in making choices.

“You are reading this, so I presume you understand how we’re evolving. We are collectively raising Kundalini, healing Earth Karma, working with Shakti, power of nature or ‘Livingness’ as I call it.”—SuZen

We are progressively more aware of and able to master our own problems and difficulties—again collectively and individually—and recognising the individual becoming the master is part of our unfolding in this transition phase: moving into the Age of Aquarius.

Keeping the energetic channel open

Because we practice, teach, offer healing therapy, coach or live and walk the Divine path, we live in knowledge that what we do is keep the energetic channel open within for Divine Communication. The full unfolding and integration of our wisdom at Guru Chakra is mastery. Self-mastery and the skill to be able to solve our own difficulties and problems with higher knowledge and thinking, working on a higher intuitive and skillful level that requires wisdom.

What I used to think: that maybe Ireland is the Planet’s “Third Eye” Chakra

My reasoning behind prompting the understanding that Ireland might be the new Guru Chakra energetic center for our Planet was quite logistic, as well as historically, spiritually and energetically based. If you knew that the Chakra was about to move West by one-twelfth of the Earth circumference, and that Glastonbury England is such a massive world power centre, then it’s quite a small mental leap in your thinking to make conceptually.

However, in terms of physical radius, it is actually only 250 miles west to the island of Ireland. Hardly a “Spit of the Goddess” [as they say in Egypt] on the face of the planet.

There’s a story here: I changed my mind

Living in West Cork, South West Ireland, it is a felt experience for those of us in tune, spiritually toned up and living with the energy experientially. This knowledge, culture, spiritual wisdom has been embodied in the land of the island of Ireland longer than is often recognised.

However, it has been suppressed, blocked and abused also for a long time—probably for the whole of the dark age of Kali Yuga and 2,500 years of the shadow of the Divine Mother. Personally I experienced these blocks for 25 years, until I couldn’t go on believing or living there any longer.

For the Earth Guru Chakra to awaken there, there would be much deep healing to be done. The healing ways seem to me to be happening by the opening up energetically of Mother Earth. I am no longer convinced Ireland has the purity and innocence to “hold the space” for Mother Earth’s energy opening up.

I decided to move country.

Spiritual Guidance

I had a dream—one of my “significant” dreams that resonates in my inner world for a long time, guiding me. Without going into too much detail here, I was being told to “go to Spain”, and the guidance was energetically and spiritually about “untold Mercy, and unwavering Compassion” . . . deep Sacred Feminine qualities.

The woman who’d been guiding me spiritually for the nearly 20 years since my husband’s death had told me I had to “go on a journey to the mountain” . . . when I said there are a lot of mountains in the world, she told me not to rule out Murcia, she knew I’d lived here before. So I left Ireland during a window of eased restrictions during Covid Lockdowns, and went to what I thought was “the mountain” in the north of Murcia region.

I got the wrong mountain but ended up here further South in the Mar Menor area, and found the mountain anyway [that’s a story for another day].

The mountain is beautiful, pure and resonating energy. Aware of the geography and maths about the Earth Third Eye moving, not happy with the accepted opinion that it will move west from Giza, I keep looking at the mountain—every day where I’m staying for the summer, as I walk back from the supermarket—and silently asking the question, “why not that mountain . . . why not???”

Cosmic Language

You know I’m always talking about the Universe having its own language and talking to us through Cosmic patterns. Well, the week last Sunday was a big Venus and Uranus alignment. My Venus is in Pisces in the first house astrologically with Uranus in Cancer in the house of the Mother.

All day, from having my coffee in the morning, through meditation and yoga practice, right up to doing my Sunday reading I was wondering how the cosmic energy was going to show up that day?

Then I got a message from my friend Manuel in the Mar Menor here, saying sorry after realising I’d sent a message a few weeks earlier. “Wow, strange” was my thinking, but that’s Uranus. . . out of the blue. The detail isn’t that important BUT he sent me a link for an article on the spiritual significance of the 22 Hebrew Letters, in Spanish and intriguing.

I searched for a simple YouTube video in English on the astrological significance, and saw instantly the “message” . . . you can see in a screenshot here: there are geographical alignments with the 22 Hebrew Letters and Planets and Constellations [for the Ages]. Mount of Olives aligns with Pisces.

The message had meaning for me: at the end of the Age of Pisces the Earth Third Eye Chakra moves west from Mount of Olives. I did the maths and 3,339 kms west aligns with the location I’ve found here [the “mountain” is more of a Sierra, a series of mountains]. There’s a consensus amongst those of us who work with “The Mother” and her energy: she opens up wherever and whenever she chooses. My heart settled into a certainty of knowing, this location would be pure enough, quiet and safe enough for her earth energy to open.

Healing is Happening, Chakra is Moving

The age we are in right now as Humanity is one of transition from dark to light. It’s probably going to take another 50 years minimum of transitioning. So, what I am writing about here is not a “temporal” issue . . . not just of our time in terms of a few months or years, but it is a sign of metamorphosis.

This is cyclical time—living in awareness of Aeons or ages. Metamorphosis is a one-way process . . . so, not like the annual cycle of a plant, but the not-going-back change of the Chrysalis-into-Butterfly.

For those of us in practice, or teaching and healing—whatever our vibrational level is right now, and how that is manifest in your life—our role in easing the transition would obviously seem to be: “hold the space” with inner strength and restore balance.

o Project your own stability onto the Earth.

o Merge your own inner balance with the collective.

o Keep your own inner channel open to the healing of the Divine Mother.

o Hold the space for the Planet.

And most importantly, distill the wisdom we have brought together, for the future, so the light can be carried forward for Humanity.

Pranams to the Mother, my teacher.

Namaste to you, SuZen

Breath and Breathing . . . a simple step to thriving

Personally, I love the concepts of Buddha Nature, Nirvana or the Bliss State, the stillness of the Ultimate Mind of the Divine which accepts us totally—and the Mother of the Breath which breathes all of us and breathes life force energy into us. One breath, One mind.

We can live for quite a long time without food, water or sleep—but our life is cut short quickly without breath. With breath we connect, we nourish, we flow and we find peace. Spiritually we say our breath “touches eternity”. We thrive.

Lao Tsu: I know this to be true for I have looked within myself

Air can be the finest tonic to the soul.  And Ayurveda in its practice of elements, guides us that air needs space to move in—so breath needs to flow into us to fill the spaces within . . . breath and joy co-exist in Yoga. And with zen we know breathing in zazen, zen meditation practice, brings us a great rest and a great joy.

The practice of zen meditation and yoga take a few minutes of your day to focus on the essential act of breathing.

A relaxation with slow breathing as in a Yoga Nidra, is a relaxation of the mundane, conscious mind and intended to bring the sweetness of relaxation to your mind and body so you can experience the joy in your practice.

A long walk, a set of exercises can also bring our attention to bringing oxygen back into our systems. There’s no need to join a gym or embark on a grueling workout regime that can never be incorporated into our daily life. Simply take a quiet moment in a favorite chair or a stroll around the block, with only the word “in” and “out” in your head as you breathe.

Let’s get into some simple daily practice here with this short practice video: my 10 minute Gentle Calm with Rainsticks . . . as you listen to the rhythm of the rainsticks, breathe with the flow.

Some reasons to breathe are:

Breathing in takes no effort . . . that is so Zen. So in tune with Osho, the Zen Master’s contribution to both zen and Yoga—relaxed effortlessness! The inbreath just happens as the breath breathes you—atmosphere makes it happen as air has to flow in to fill space within. And as the Buddha said: “you can just let short breaths be short breaths, and long breaths be long . . .”  One of the most powerful reasons to learn to breathe with our practice as far as I’m concerned, is for the relaxation because this builds so much inner confidence.

Breathing makes you feel light . . . because you are breathing in light—and it makes you feel happy enough if you do enough controlled practice of it . . . for happiness, focus on heart chakra breathing.

Breathing makes you feel strong . . . and of course, I’m talking about controlled breathing practice with awareness on the breath and breath flow. The ancient Yogis learned that they could control and master the emotions with the breath and they passed this knowledge onto the zen masters . . . and you will need to control your own tidal waves of emotions to follow your Heaven or Bliss with your spirit!

Breathing may be simple, but it’s powerful—controlled use of the outbreaths releases toxins, helping you balance your inner subtle energies. Control of the breath releases tension from the “pain body” and trains your brain that you are in control.

There are Two Parts to Inner Harmony . . . Karma and Bliss

We all have something crucial in common. We are all alive. We are all powered by the same vital spark—an invisible energy surges through all of us and we are all manifestations of the same Divine energy. We are expressions of life. This is our belief in walking the Divine path with Spiritual Vision.

When we truly understand this we automatically become more in tune with all things and thus we become capable of almost anything . . . or so it seems . . . as that “anything” is actually something which seems not to be coming from skills or qualities or experiences previously known . . . so it seems as if we’re capable of anything because it is impersonal. You’ve probably said yourself, and most definitely heard the words “I didn’t know I could do that . . “ “. . . . I never knew I was going to be doing this . . .”

By thinking that we are “capable of almost anything” we can either get ourselves into a head spin, get above ourselves . . . or find harmony through our bliss. To practice Wisdom, through zen, yoga, tao or mindfulness, is to practice Equanimity. We all have a harmonic center within each of us in our unique individual being. To find it and work in harmony with our being and our self-knowledge, we recognise that each of us is walking a path of tension—a struggle for the true self to shine through what appears to be living with opposing inner forces: what we want, and meeting the resistance and frustration of trying to be ourself.

Life is a Balancing Act

To be in harmony and live in harmony, we recognise that life IS a balancing act of walking a path and flowing with existence—and neither of these seemingly opposing forces are in fact pulling us in opposing directions. So we learn how to live and work from a harmonic center of being for our highest expression. The fact is for both our Karma and our Bliss to find highest expression, we not only try to live and work with highest positive life forces we also recognise the benefit and blessings in removing opposing forces . . .

Our Unique Joy

Which is a long way round of saying that each one of us has committed ourselves to using our efforts and beliefs firstly, to something that is best for us but secondly, also to something that is best for existence and which yields a unique Joy that only the Divine can experience fully—and we receive the blessings, or bliss from our actions. And this commitment to which our Soul is bound for this existence, is our Yoga – one translation of “Yoga” in the Sanskrit is “binding” . . . we follow the path of harmony and bliss because we have bound our Soul to a life commitment . . . we follow our Bliss: and practice of the path leads us to Samadhi, a “bringing” together of these energies with the Divine.

Impersonal Commitment

The first commitment is personal, quite conscious . . . the second is impersonal, as it’s about flow, supporting existence and may seem to be the opposite of the personal commitment we have bound our Soul to for this existence. So: Karma and Bliss, and balancing these two at our center and creating harmony . . . not only in our life, but for the Divine, for existence (which is the Mother) and acting as the center of our Universe. Because we are not personally aware of the way in which we are to support existence, then we have to pay attention to and follow our signs, symbols and daily messages which are our Divine communication . . . and our practice then meets our life: in joy. As an example, my seemingly opposing forces are “Service” as following my Bliss to support existence and through which I gain in security, and “Compassion” as my Karma and through which I gain by achieving growth.

Harmony

The more of us who can live in this way, the more the Divine will experience Harmony—this will radiate out from our unique individual centers of being. The less of us who live in this way, the more through the eyes of the Divine the world experiences chaos. Which is why I teach that the time is now for us to accelerate our Spiritual Vision—seeing the Divine Communication in our daily signs, symbols and messages as we work with our life path in discovery and growth—because it affects the harmony of the whole, at the level of evolution of humanity, which is the expansion of our consciousness . . . true growth.

Flow of Heaven

Then through the eyes of Truth—God, Goddess, Heaven, Now, Tao, Dharma—the world will be experiencing happiness. And our blessings will flow as we flow to support existence: our blessings showering down on those around us . . . which is a state of Samadhi, absorbing Heaven. We simply learn to create positivity, through the most harmonious use of our Shining Self, our inner world, and our True Being Nature.

How Do I Get “zen-love” Into My Day . . ?

Whenever I’m taking the time to focus my attention on “Zen-love-ing up My Day”, people around me notice and I’m always being asked : ” . . . WHAT do you do?”  The effects are that obvious!

“Zenity” is my term for the beneficial effects that a zen practice and a regular routine have on us.

So: sanity by zen.

I’m “Zen-love-ing up my Day” | there’s a story here :

Our Zen Sangha met one weekend in Baltimore, West Cork, Ireland. [The Sangha is the “community” or meditation group]. We’d been having a chat over tea, as usual after our meditation sit, and the conversation once more turned to “Beginner’s Mind” a constant topic for us.

I’d been reading You Have to Say Something, Dainin Katagiri’s book over the last year or so and the consensus of opinion was that Master Katagiri talks so well with the beginner in mind, about daily routine. Beginner’s Mind is the open, eagerness of the new meditator: everything is possible. When you start meditating in the zen-way, which is an initiation, you’re starting out on a path and your life becomes your meditation: and the initiate goes through a process of change of mind-set.

Living simply and in the moment becomes the daily ordering principle which brings not only a peaceful tranquil mind, but also the tremendous joy of being able to bring the sacred into life on a daily basis. Sounds more than sane to me.

We start with small, easy things.
.

.
First practice : Get up with “no mind”

So, your new daily routine, here is the essence of what Master Katagiri says: “Getting up is only a tiny activity. It is not unusual—everyone does it. Although there is nothing outstanding about it, the golden-ness of the Earth is found in just such activities in everyday life. But instead of attending to such details, we form habitual ways of behaviour by attending to our desires.

This is no way to live.

We will never satisfy ourselves through such means. If you really want to please yourself, just forget your longing and attend to your daily life. In this we find “golden-ness”.

“. . . no thought, no mind . . . only attention . . . “

“When it is time to get up, just get up. Free your mind from the thinking about having to get up. This is the way to enter the doors of a golden, peaceful world.”   When we take care of all the little details of life we call it “living in vow”:  Little details like getting up in the morning.

“Taking hold of the tiller of the boat of life, grabbing an oar” is what I mean when I say living in vow—aspiring to awaken each moment of your daily life.”

I have precis’d the above, but in essence what Master Katagiri was referring to is a saying of Dogen Zenjo, the founder of the Soto Zen school in Japan:

“. . . the wind of Buddhism makes manifest the great Earth’s golden-ness, and makes ripen the sweet milk of the long rivers.”

Zen Master Dogen likened life to riding in a boat. Most people just “ride” the boat of the Universe, but this is actually just drifting. And in order to sail across the Ocean of Human life, we must see the Earth as golden and taste her rivers as sweet milk.

So much of Zen is simply beautiful and sweetly poetic

.

Next: add some regular daily practice

And the beautiful simplicity of a regular practice, which gives the ordering principle daily to your life, is that we get the space and time to unify opposites: for example, the boring mundanity of much of daily life is brought together with the sweetness and freedom of breathing.

Our internal qualities as Human Beings can be brought together in practice, like for instance emotional strength and also emotional ease that comes with regularity.

And you can try this:

Take time out for tea

How could a day be complete living with Zen, without taking time out for the art of the tea ritual and loving the art of living? Tea Drinking is an Art in Zen—we drink tea to de-stress, to have a ritual and it is so revered it is known of as “The Tea Way” in Zen.

It might sound too simple for words, but the world “stops”—all those concerns get distant temporarily—and everyone’s equal when we take time for this ritual. What we’re doing, with some very simple elements, is:

. to accept,
. appreciate
. and revere

what naturally occurs, exactly as it is—in an atmosphere of harmony, tranquility, purity and reverence.

just as we appreciate our tea, we’re appreciating nature and all that is

A small step with big joy: Keep the moment very simple—stay in tune with the Earth and Planet daily

And here’s a final word from Master Katagiri on practice: “When you sit in zazen. Just sit .  .  .

“But you sit and how many thoughts, and emotions, memories, physical sensations appear from moment to moment and sit with you? Yet this moment is very simple. So why not take care of it with all your heart? To live our lives simply from moment to moment is zazen . . . the Essence of Zen. The manifestation of Ultimate Reality.”

I have this very, very simple daily practice for you to connect you with life, our Planet and our love for Nature, and Mother Earth’s love for you: meditate for 10 minutes with the Heart Beat of the Earth.

“I am Buddha”: Respect your own Buddha mind

In living with Zen, and with a regular practice, we’re acknowledging and respecting our innate [natural] Buddha mind, our individual Buddha hearts and of course our own Buddha nature. So the essence of our life becomes loving in regularly placing ourselves in a silent, simple place of harmonising with Humanity.

We create a “Temple of Light” in our Living Mind as a sacred space for Humanity’s advancement. Sounds like big love to me!

“When our life is simpler and more heart-based, we can live as a Total Person—from your intuition as much as your intellect, from your instinct as much as emotion: balanced and happy.”—Namaste, Susan

Zen of Destiny . . . Nothing is Broken

I had 3 sub-titles for this Blog : “Don’t Hold Back on Destiny . . . my zen is always with me” and “zen of Destiny . . . and accepting it exactly as it is”.

I decided on “nothing is broken”: so, Zen of Destiny . . . Nothing is Broken.

This is why I say that: nothing is broken. Just right now in our lifetimes, at this point on our Planet, in our human evolution we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be doing exactly what we’re supposed to be doing: it might seem like chaos, and a shocking outrage of nature we’re living through . . . but— the ancients knew it was coming, it was prophesied and they prepared some of us [teachers and masters] to deal with it and lead a way forward.

It’s not at all easy to focus on a Sudoku puzzle when the sound of a drill is screeching though the adjacent wall. And it’s not that easy to dance gracefully if you’re carrying a ton of bricks. Having a thoughtful conversation after a bottle of wine isn’t easy either, even if it loosen’s some people’s tongues. Some things are just downright impossible. Sometimes, we find ourselves in circumstances which are not conducive to progress.

We need to look at what’s holding us back. What feels like a problem can be easy to fix. If, and that’s a big IF . . . we know we’re here to appreciate exactly what we’ve got. And, we don’t make any assumptions about timing or have expectations of our environment. With zen we live well in the day, we live well with and appreciate nature and each other: especially we accept that anything and anybody can be our teacher.

Good teachers teach with both love and discipline, with both resources and responsibility.

As a teacher I know, because my teacher taught me how, to teach you to solve your own problems every day so you reach a level of self-mastery and emotional maturity, and along with like minded individuals, be able to say ” . . . this is our destiny”.

Don’t Hold Back on Destiny . . . my zen is always with me

Some people seem to be drawn to problematic situations. If there’s a difficult path to take, they’ll choose that and take it; they have an almost eery and uncanny ability to get themselves into sticky situations. Yet rather than this being a problem, it’s a skill. Just think how dull their lives would be if they could somehow manage to change their deep-rooted psychological tendency to seek out interesting challenges. We’re being challenged now for a reason.

I’m writing this Blog for you as we’re just out of Super Blood Full Moon Eclipse, May ’22: don’t get overwhelmed, and don’t avoid a situation just because it looks difficult. Making small changes in your own life and opening both your mind and your heart works for all of us. This shift holds great potential.

Humanity has survived impending doom, climate change and cultural chaos before—we are incredibly resilient because we adapt: we evolve. One of the things that happens is, when we move forward into a new age [we’re moving into the Astrological Age of Aquarius] the teachers distill the wisdom of the old age for the benefit of the coming generations: so we go into the new with the support of wisdom and knowledge ready for new experiences.

It takes strength, and yes, discipline: we take responsibility for living well as a living being on a living Planet in a living Universe. It doesn’t have to be miserable, we can thrive!

Here are some words from Lao Tzu [Tao Te Ching – or Dao De Ching] to inspire you :
“I know this to be true because I have looked within myself”

Novelist Gabriel García Márquez wrote: “All human beings have three lives: public, private, and secret”. I want to add that during different phases of our lives, as we know from Astrology, one or the other of these three lives might take precedence; and it might need more care than usual. According to what I know of the times we’re living through, our lives in the coming weeks and months will offer abundant vitality and many blessings in the third area: our secret lives. We can most definitely, and are totally supposed to, thrive.

Zen of Destiny . . . and accepting it exactly as it is

My prescription for best results: give devoted attention to your hidden depths in your secret life. As one of my spiritual astrologers told me: “Be a brave explorer of your mysterious riddles.”

We are on the edge of mystery. We’re dancing to the riddles and tunes of an ever changing Universe: live well with, and appreciate, nature exactly as it is for us right now—nothing is broken for us. When we’re the ones already taking care of living well on a daily basis, our Zen is always with us.

Enjoy! suZen
