We’re at the End of the Age of Pisces and Kali Yuga

“At this point in time in humanity’s history and evolution we’re at the end of the Age of Pisces. Western astrological ages are 2,000 years in time-span. In the Sun’s precessional cycle measured by Equinoxes, the ages are around 2,150 years, and there’s an ending period anything from 50 – 500 years. We’re also at the end of Kali Yuga, the descending or Dark Age.”—SuZen

The Yugas in the Eastern tradition have slightly different lengths, but as a phase in an overall great age, we’re coming to the end of a 12,000 year cycle of 4 ages, each 3,000 years and with each having a quality of energy which affects us, Humanity.

The energetic quality of the Age of Pisces has been about “Belief”: also the age of victim/martyr and Patriarchy or male dominance . . . master and victim. After roughly 2,000 years we’re going into the Age of Aquarius: the age of Knowledge and the enlightened individual. After the dark, we’re emerging into the light: into the age of genius, visionary and empath.

At the end of each age, the Great Teachers and healers come with the purpose of distilling the wisdom of the previous age to take humanity forward. This can happen from 500 years prior to the opening of the new Age. Think of the Buddha, the Great Zoroaster, Mohammed and Jesus: and also consider the timing of their appearance in our history and consciousness.

Dharma

So, the teachers and healers come and they fulfill their purpose: what wisdom might they have distilled for Humanity’s advancement now?

We’ve come out of the past, with a common memory of unfinished business — Karma — and with a calling for our own happiness and for Humanity to evolve.

Pisces’ energetic quality is that of the most pure, having been purified by the “deluge” of previous incarnations in the other sign vibrations.  Evolved and purified, this energy is for living and working at the level of the seventh spiritual law of Yoga: the law of purpose in life . . . Dharma.

Next Steps on the Divine Path for us

Ancient Eastern Wisdom Paths to Freedom such as Yoga and Zen, tell us that our identity comes from understanding our Soul Essence and purpose, and personally I know this to be true.  Many of us have the qualities of Pisces somewhere in our natal astrological birth charts whether Western or Vedic: we’re tuned into the “Spirit of the Times”, the Zeitgeist.

Maybe we’re collectively and naturally taking the next step forward for humanity’s advancement right now in our flow! Our Dharma is our Tao, our Ma’at in the Egyptian way, our Culture, our path. The way forward is to live in Transformation, always asking the question: “what is the next step for me?”

“And the lesson is: surrender to Flow?”—SuZen

Yin Zen Soma : Providing | Our daily practice in inviting in Divine Feminine and our Ancients

Our practice in Yin Zen Soma gives us the clarity, power and strength for taking questions arising in our life right now and looking for the answers which will work for the long term for Humanity’s advancement. It’s called “Providing” !

Zen can be inscrutable . . . one word is like a whole horizon

This is a practice of daily “Inviting the Ancestors in” – acknowledging our own Ancient memory, our Soul’s infinite and eternal nature and the bigger picture of Universal vision for Humanity’s advancement. This is the Deep Feminine in our practice, for our daily life and it invites in Yin or Primordial Goddess. Acknowledging we all have potential solutions for our near and subsequent future, when we live in Balance and with our own true being nature, means realising our “purpose-ful-ness”.

This is the second part of an I Ching reading [from The Book of Changes: I Ching] I had when I was wondering how to say something that is very simple, when we live in a world that has become so complex . . . and which spoke of a “Tower Moment for Humanity” similar to Tarot imagery and energy of the “Tower” [click here for the first part]. The message is : Providing: and the I Ching image was:

“Thunder comes resounding out of the Earth.”

This is the image of enthusiasm.

The Ancient Kings and Queens made music in order to honour Merit. And offered it with splendour  to the Supreme Deity: inviting their Ancestors to be present.

The reading went on: “A Hexagram has been drawn from the I Ching that speaks about your enthusiasm for something but it also speaks about a need to channel that enthusiasm intelligently . . .”

We’ve got change coming into our life. We have a choice to make. But it in order to get it right, we have to be in tune with our circumstances. And in tune too with the people around us who will help the right things come about. Being in tune means more than just knowing what you want.

Being in tune means knowing what other people want too. And it means knowing what problems can arise. It means thinking things through – not to the point where you pay devil’s advocate so intently that you end up seeing nothing but the downside . . . but it means recognising the potential problems that could arise and making provision for them.

As we do that. And as we make provision too for the possible consequences of success in moving forward as Humanity, we have to understand that there’s more than just our own will to succeed that’s at stake here: other issues, wider factors – they’ve all got to be accounted for somehow and in the process of making yourself in harmony with the immediate situation and surroundings, you’ve got to keep enough enthusiasm to allow yourself to move forward but not push it so far forward that you alienate anyone and create a problem that need not exist: it’s a question of being wise.

It’s a question of being calm.

And it’s a question of taking questions arising in our life right now and looking for the answers which will work for the long term. In our practice we do that by asking “How”. Then we wait for the answers. “How” is Tao, is God/Goddess, is Balance, is Ma’at, and it is Mother or Love.

You can start your own practice simply by making a daily invitation to Divine Energies into your life in this YouTube video [clickhere]. Or go to the Daily Practice section in the main menu bar above for Earth Empaths and Daily Flow with the main Moon Phases.

The Entire World in “Hermit” mode . . . ? AUMmmmm

I’m breaking my silence during the last month of a 100-day deep retreat . . . in awareness of the Pandemic virus sending the whole world into self-isolation, staying at home in enforced “hermit” mode.

And what happens in stillness, silence and rest? Love-force arises. Gandhi called it Soul-force, Jesus called it Love-force . . .

The Pisces Sacred Creatives

As a teacher I know there’s a spiritual network all over our world just waiting to be called on for a Global awakening to what our priorities as Humanity really are . . .  and some of us are Specific healers and Teachers, as Pisces Sacred Creatives – creating a new vision for Humanity’s future by taking off the “mind-bandages” to what’s important and vital for thriving, never mind surviving.

I made a short program in 2018, sensing those of us in the Pisces vibration in this incarnation will need to self-protect, self-nurture and grow into our power. Bonding and boundaries are vital to us.

Here’s the link . . . I trust it’ll resonate with those it needs to.

Friday Tea-time . . . the zen tea destressing art – “learning silence” | A Zen Story [Koan]

Friday tea time again this week, and time to take time out for our de-stressing tea-way ritual. Today I’m continuing the focus on guidance for your contemplation and the zen tea way . . .  I found this short animated zen story on the tale of the 4 students learning to be silent for 7 days, a koan for the tea way to tranquility of mind and wisdom.

.

Learning to be Silent

.

A wisdom story for our age of control and drama!

.

Learning to be silent

We’re in an age of trying too hard and automatic responses to drama/trauma . . . caused by many things of course, our own evolution and mis-guided priorities and values. We’re in crisis as Humanity . . . but Humanity always needs crisis to make the structural changes we need to change . . .

 .

As usual, I encourage you to inform yourself and if you’re instinctively drawn to a daily way to tranquility and peace for your mind-body-spirit then gen up as much as you can with self-education. Learn more about our Zen Tea-way in my blog.

Enjoy! suzen

zen of Nonsense : or Order and Seeming Sense | Ancient Steps to Mystery

It’s only human beings and their need for orderly minds that would have the audacity to assume that the Universe can be ordered and structured.

Maybe, maybe not – there is no seeming “sense” in the chaos-order-cycle of Divine Consciousness played out in our Cosmos, and of course by the Mother of Existence – nature.

.

Nonsense of Order

It may seem a bit nonsensical in our seemingly ordered, logical and linear world that we could jump into something as vast as self-realisation through At-one-ment with the Ultimate Mystery in maybe only 10 minutes of meditation. But Yoga has been described as a many threaded tapestry, all threads of which ultimately lead us to our Union, Samadhi . . . and on this Ancient path, we learn that the sacred place is where we are, and what we are doing is opening our spiritual vision to see our life in that way. This is a path of practice that is further than the Yoga that many of you know.

As I teach it, Yoga is the practice which enables us to live with Divine Communication in our lives . . . and with zen living with Direct Experience of our own Divinity.

“It’s only human beings and their need for orderly minds that would have the audacity to assume that the Universe can be ordered and structured.”

.

.

Initiation and Transmission

In our practice of meditation we follow ancient steps taking us from self-acceptance to the necessary inner peace and balance for our conversations with the Divine . . . with Yoga, your Union with the Divine . . . with zen we let this flow into our daily life, living in a unique way of being and bringing order as a principle in our practice.

Yoga as we know translates as “union” or “communion” but it also means discipline – the discipline in our practice. So we’re bringing a form to our meditation practice through discipline . . . the path which leads us to the At-One-Ment, or transcending to the mystery. Yoga also means “to bind” – it is what your Soul is “bound to” or your Bliss: your Dharma path. Zen means simply “meditation” or focused concentration flowing into the form of our life . . . so zen is free-flowing, it flows into whatever form our life takes [which means our culture.]

And it is a process of initiation, opening and growing our consciousness individually so that the vastness of the Ancient knowledge can be transmitted to us: sometimes with simplicity and very few words.

Because none of this is orderly just for the sake of pacifying a human being’s day-to-day mind, and most of the time “making sense of it all”, is a futile path.

.

.

Simple Practice

Simple practice is important: so, for example, practice in breath flow through the subtle bodies, our Koshas, and perhaps with an ancient zen centering meditation, as centering brings us into the balance we need to open awareness of consciousness, and the inner peace we need for our Conversations with God/Goddess . . . keeping the channel for Divine Communication open, opening our hearts and minds to our signs from Heaven.

“It’s a process of initiation, opening and growing our consciousness individually so that the vastness of the Ancient knowledge can be transmitted to us.”

.

Contemplation

And, for contemplation, mainly for Westerners not familiar with this from the Upanishads, there are a few lines here which I’ll leave you with:

.

[Reading starts at about 2 minutes into the video!]

.

A Reading From The Upanishads

I do not know god
nor can I say that I don’t know it

If you understand the meaning of . . .
“I neither know nor don’t know . . . “
you understand god

Those who realise
that god cannot be known
truly know

Those who claim that they know
know nothing
